Northwestern REC Community Forest
This 106-acre forest was acquired in 2024 through the generosity of the Northwestern Rural Electric Cooperative Association and a grant by the USDA Forest Service Community Forest Program. In the summers of 2024 and 2025, volunteers and members of the DCNR's PA Outdoor Corps constructed a 3/4 mile loop trail, shown on the map as a white dotted line, on the east side of the Community Forest.
