The Bail Family Forest was donated to the Foundation this summer as a Shared Gift with Allegheny College. As such, in time the net proceeds from timber activities on the forest will be shared with the college in perpetuity. It will also serve as a demonstration and teaching forest for Allegheny College students and the general public..The dedication will be attended by representatives from the Foundation for Sustainable Forests, Allegheny College, and the Bail Family.

Join us on May 19th, 12:30-4:30pm at FSF's Blooming Valley Forest near 16759 Price Rd. Blooming Valley, PA as we all share ideas and perspectives walking through a forest featuring various aged group selections and a variety of tree species and cohorts. The Blooming Valley Forest has been managed by FSF foresters since 1985 using a system of low intensity, high frequency thinnings and group openings.
This event was offered at no cost and qualified for 4.0 CFE SAF credits.
