Ways to Give via Erie Gives

To give by check: The Erie Community Foundation is accepting checks by mail only (no drop-offs in person this year due to construction) beginning Monday, June 15th and no later than Tuesday, August 4th.

All checks must be payable to “The Erie Community Foundation” (not FSF), and accompanied by a Check Form. Mail check and completed form to The Erie Community Foundation, 459 West 6th Street, Erie, PA 16507.

To give online: Online contributions will be accepted for 24 hours on Tuesday, August 11th. Visit ErieGives.org to get started. All online and credit card processing fees will be covered by The Erie Community Foundation, so the full amount of your donation will be received by FSF!

To make a gift from your IRA: Contact your financial advisor ASAP to discuss this option. In order to count as an Erie Gives donation, The Erie Community Foundation must receive your donation via the transfer of appreciated stock or IRA qualified charitable distribution by Tuesday, August 4th.

You can either ask your financial custodian to send the check to you, and then you can add the completed Check Form and mail to The Erie Community Foundation, OR you can ask your financial custodian to send the check directly to The Erie Community Foundation, and mail the completed check form separately. To make a gift of stock or IRA: Contact your financial advisor ASAP to discuss this option. In order to count as an Erie Gives donation and received prorated match, The Erie Community Foundation must receive your donation via the transfer of appreciated stock or IRA qualified charitable distribution by Tuesday, August 4th. To initiate the transfer of stock, please call 814.454.0843 to receive further instructions.

To give by phone: The Erie Gives phone bank will be open on Tuesday, August 11th from 8am to 8pm (Eastern Standard Time). Call 814.454.0843 and make a gift using your credit card (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, or Visa). All credit card processing fees will be covered by The Erie Community Foundation, so the full amount of your donation will be received by FSF!
