Presque Isle Audubon Society will host a presentation on Friday, November 21st with Dr. Steve Latta of the National Aviary and Dr. Annie Maloney of Foundation for Sustainable Forests. The presentation, Fostering Forest Bird Habitat and Ecosystem Resilience through Management, will share findings and insights from the 4-year study in which their organizations partnered to explore the impact of uneven-aged forest management on two groups of birds of conservation concern — early successional species and species requiring interior forest habitats.
