This afternoon stroll is a celebration of springtime in the forest in loving memory of FSF co-founder, Lynn Firth. The walk will take place on forest trails, and sometimes off-trail, on uneven terrain, but the pace is not strenuous.
If you aren’t able to make it, we encourage you to join us virtually! This StoryMap was created for the 2020 Wildflower Walk and features a series of videos to guide you through the flora of Trolley Line Trail. You can also use it to brush up on your spring ephemeral flower identification skills!
Location:
Trolley Line Trail – Erie National Wildlife Refuge, Cambridge Springs, PA
We will meet at the eastern trailhead / parking area on State Highway 408 between the Jervis Church Cemetery and Martin’s Mulch. If using a GPS, the closest address is 27773 State Highway 408 Cambridge Springs, PA 16403, which routes to a private residence across the road from the trailhead.
