What’s a Walking Moai? It’s a group of people who on a weekly basis to walk together. It’s an active timeout with friends and neighbors and a great way to recharge your batteries.
On June 20th, Foundation for Sustainable Forests’ Annie Maloney will join the Northwest Pennsylvania Trail Association as a guide. During the walk, we will practice tree identification and talk about the ecology of some of the species we will find along the Corry Junction Greenways Trail.
Here is some logistical Information about the June 20th event, and general information about the NW PA Trail Association’s 2023 Walking Moai’s series:
All walks meet at the trailhead parking lot at 4:00 p.m. The lot is located on Route 426 between the cemetery and Corry Concrete. Please be ready to begin walking at 4:15 pm. We’ll plan to walk for at least 30 minutes. All fitness levels are welcome!
