January 26, 20262026 marks the 10th anniversary of the Our Woods & Waters Film Series! On January 16th, we gathered virtually via Zoom webinar with a selection of six films spanning the globe from Germany’s Black Forest, to Alaska’s Izembek National Wildlife Refuge, to right here in northwest PA. Attendees from across the country tuned in, and we had the pleasure of being joined by Allegheny College Professor Michael Keeley, who introduced his film Ernst Trail: You Meet the Nicest People There.
The second and final installment of this year’s series will include a new slate of films, to be featured in-person on Friday, February 20th at 6:30pm at Edinboro McKean VFW Post 740 near Edinboro, PA. Event details, driving directions, and an RSVP form are available on the event page linked here. We hope to see you there!
These films are brought to you in partnership by French Creek Valley Conservancy and the Foundation for Sustainable Forests. The 2026 Film Series is sponsored by Northwestern Rural Electric Cooperative Association.
