Last week, many of the FSF team happily attended, exhibited, presented, and learned at the PA Forest Landowners Conference in State College, which returned after a 4-year hiatus!
This conference provided a wealth of information for forest landowners in PA - everything from beekeeping and maple sugaring, to invasive management, restoring degraded forests, and forest legacy planning. On top of all of that, it was so FUN to connect with the forest landowner and steward community!
FSF was also happy to display some new exhibit materials made possible with support from the Corry Community Foundation. The horse banner was a popular selfie spot!
The PA Forest Landowners Conference is hosted by the James C. Finley Center for Private Forests at Penn State. The next conference will be held next in March 2025; check back at the conference website from time to time for information!
