Our partner in the conservation of Floraroze Forest, Diane Christin Esser, hosted a Watershed-Wetland Outdoor Experience at the forest this past Saturday with environmental groups throughout the region offering programming for all ages! FSF Founder Troy Firth contributed to the day’s programming with a sustainable forestry woods walk. Cassie Ziegler, Masters student and National Aviary field research team member, led a birding walk and discussion about the bird diversity, habitat, and diet research that has taken place at Floraroze Forest and other FSF properties over the past three summers.
